Dedicated professionals throughout the military medical system work tirelessly to care for the men and women who wear — or have worn — the uniform. Tonight, we recognize them all by honoring a special few who have demonstrated leadership, brilliance and bravery through their commitment, expertise and selflessness on behalf of the service men and women they serve.
Part 2 of the live taping of the Henry M. Jackson Foundation (HJF) for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. 2013 Heroes of Military Medicine Awards hosted by the HJF Center for Public-Private Partnerships (CP3). Tonight we honor individuals who have bettered the lives of our nation’s service members, veterans and their families.

Dunford, Jr., USMC, Commander, International Security Assistance Force – Afghanistan; Commander, United States Forces – Afghanistan.
